Gratitude story from New York City, USA

"My father is an incredible man and full of unconditional love. I think the thing that he did for me, more so than anything, is just the unconditional love to be exactly who I want to be. He has always loved and never put conditions on what I do. He encouraged me to move to New York 30 years ago and become an artist. Whatever it is that I have decided to do with my life, he just wants to make sure I’m happy. I think everyone is born an artist. He nurtured whatever it is that I wanted to do. When I was a child, I asked him if I could paint my walls red and all of the furniture black. I remember that was one thing I did. And then I painted the walls purple and all of my furniture pink. He allowed me to wear whatever I wanted and he encouraged me to do what I wanted to." (New York City, USA) #nyc #gratitude #unconditionallove #father #digithanks #usa
