Gratitude Story from Colombia

"It’s a hard decision to send a thank you note to only one person, as I have a lot of people to be thankful for. I will choose a friend who I really appreciate, Maria Claudia Perry.⠀ ⠀ We have shared a lot of experiences, but the ones I remember the most were when we would go to parties or to a good disco to dance, as we both really enjoy dancing and had a good time. Those memories occurred around 1990-2000. We were both working full-time and sometimes I had to travel for weeks due to work. Due to our other commitments, we had to plan our time accordingly to make sure we had the chance to see one another. ⠀ ⠀ Something I remember with joy was the music we listened to. I’m a Classical Rock/Pop music fan and a Salsa fan, which were all popular at the time. In comparison, today the trendy music is mostly Reggaeton, which I don’t like at all. There is also an electronic music that I like, but it’s not the same as it was twenty years ago. Maria Claudia shared my taste in music, so we never struggled with selecting a place to go and have fun. It was easy for us to laugh and we always have an enjoyable time together." (Bogota, Colombia)⠀ ⠀ ⠀
