Gratitude Story from Croatia

If you wanted to send a thank-you note to someone in your life, who would it be, and what is one of your best memories of that person? "Well, that would definitely be my friend Tanja, I've known her for about nine years; we met via common friends, a group of people who, at the time, were involved in all sorts of alternative medicine, spirituality, and that kind of knowledge. I was in high school back then. One time, I went to hang out with all of them, and she was there. We hit it off immediately: that same day we became close, and we're still great friends, even though we see each other less frequently these days.  Still, we often speak on the phone, and those are often very long talks. We went through a lot together and had a lot to deal with a lot over the years, so there were several rough patches between the two of us, but there was a time when we both matured and outgrew our egos on some important issues. I always remember our trip to Berlin, Germany. It was about eight years ago. My God, we were so incompatible when it came to life details. I was much younger back then, almost like an ''Energizer bunny'', and she was like a grown-up, wanting to take things slowly. We were royaly pissing each other off. Ha ha. We had our marathon long  talks about ourselves, self-discovery, and who knows what. We were both smoking back then, and I remember we almost lit the kitchen on fire.  Ha ha. Those were crazy days…" (Croatia) . . . #gratitude #thanks #friends #croatia #digithanks #inspiring #gratitudealways
