Gratitude Story from the United Kingdom

View this post on Instagram

If you wanted to send a thank-you note to someone in your life, who would it be, and what is one of your best memories of that person? "I want to send a thank-you note to my grandfather.ย I remember you since I remember myself as a person! From that point onward, I have memories of when I got home from school and ran towards you, asking for your blessing, and you gave me a kiss on the hand; I remember the crowd of people in your office every day. I remember all the Christmases in your company, how you preserved the family union, the affection and love that you always gave us, as your daughters. I knew I could always count on you. But mostly, I remember the awesome stories you've told, full of wisdom, that taught me a lot and helped me to see you as the hero you were! A hero that risked his own life to save his son, one that was in war with the mission to save lives.A hero as a father, as a grandfather, as a friend, and as a doctor!Thank you, Grandpa Costa."
